  • 2019 – Joined the Smart City Consortium to drive smart city development in Hong Kong. Provided data analytic solutions to help Hong Kong International Airport monitor and visualize passenger and road traffic, achieving better resource deployment and enhanced operation efficiency.
  • 2020 – Launched the third data center in Hong Kong. Obtained an independent third-party certification from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for the internal governance systems of its range of cloud products and services.
  • 2021 – Expanded the “Hong Kong and Macao Eco Alliance” to “Greater Bay Area EcoAlliance”. Jointly developed a smart train-scheduling platform with MTR, using cloud technology and artificial intelligence to adjust and optimize train deployment and maintenance. According to a report by Gartner, Alibaba Cloud had the biggest IaaS market share in Hong Kong in 2020.
